Description

Pondistar is used for the immunisation of cattle, sheep and goats against anthrax, blackleg (black quarter) and botulism.

Contains a suspension of spores of Bacillus anthracis a virulent strain (Sterne 34F2) at a concentration of ≥ 10million/dose, bacterines of Clostridium chauvoei and toxoids of Clostridium botulinum types C and D to meet the following potency values: Clostridium chauvoei.

Directions for Use

  • Inoculation route: Subcutaneous. Primary vaccination: Two doses with an interval of 4 – 6 weeks.
  • Revaccination: One dost at internals of not more than 12 months
  • Dose: Cattle, sheep and goats: 2mℓ
Withdrawal Period

Meat: 21 days
Precautions

Transient swelling may occur at site of vaccination

As with all vaccines, absolute immunity cannot be guaranteed

Dispose of all unused vaccines

Concurrent use of antibiotics during vaccination may interfere with vaccine
