PARVEXON PLUS is a potent injection treatment for Theileriosis (East Coast Fever), particularly for advanced cases with pulmonary oedema. PARVEXON PLUS contains 150 mg/mℓ Parvaquone and 55mg/mℓ Frusemide. Parvaquone is theilericidal, acting on schizonts and piroplasm. Frusemide is a diuretic, which resolves pulmonary oedema.

| Directions for Use | Dose – Inject by the intramuscular route into the neck muscles at the rate of 1mℓ/15kg (10.0mg Paravaquone, 3.6 mg Frusemide per kg). Repeat after 48 hours. In cases of exceptionally severe infections with pulmonary oedema, further treatment at half the dosage rate may be required at 24-hour intervals. |
