Directions for Use

a.  SUBTERRANEAN TERMINTES

Use a 1% water emulsion for subterranean termites (ie. Mix 2 L BARRIER EC TERMITICIDE IN 98  L water) and treat at the rate of 5 L per 1 msq.

b. POST CONSTRUCTION TREATMENT

Dulute at the rate of 2 L BARRIER EC TERMITICIDE to 98 L water to produce a 1% emulsion. Post-construction applications shall be made by injection or drenching with low pressure spray through rod-holes and/or trenches.  For slab-on ground construction apply at a rate of 18 L per 3 linear metres.  Treat along the outside of the foundation and where  necessary just beneath the slab on the inside of the foundation walls

c. WOOD-INFESTING BEETLES

Use a 0.5% water emulsion. Apply by brushing the emulsion evenly on wood surfaces or as a coarse spray to the point of runoff.

Precautions

  • Not recommended for mixing with any other chemicals
  • Poisonous by swallowing, inhalation or skin contact
  • Handle with care and avoid any contact with the pesticide
  • WEAR PROTECTIVE CLOTHING ie. Gloves and overalls when handing concentrates
  • DO NOT eat, drink or smoke while applying the pesticide
  • DO NOT spray on food or where food is prepared or processed
  • Wash slashes from skin and eyes immediately
  • Avoid working in spray mist or wear a mask
  • Avoid contact with mouth
  • KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN, store in original container under lock and key and KEEP APART FROM FOOD AND FOODSTUFFS
  • DO NOT CONTAMINATE WELLS, POOLS, OR ANY OTHER BODY OF WATER.  DO NOT spray where ground is water saturated or where run offs could occur
  • POISONOUS TO LIVESTOCK, DOMESTIC PETS, FISH AND BIRDS, HIGHLY TOXIC TO BEES.  DO NOT spray vegetables, or surfaces where trees may frequent.
