Dose:  5 mg activity/kg body weight for 5 days, normally one sachet in 250 litres of drinking water.

Treatment and prevention of Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum (Mg), Mycoplasma synoviae (Ms):

As a therapeutic treatment of CRD, use in water at 20-25 mg activity/kg body weight for 3 days – normally achieved by dissolving one sachet per 200 litres of drinking water.

To prevent clinical signs of CRD in Mycoplasma positive birds, use in water at 20-25 mg activity/kg for first 3 days of life. This may be followed by 10-15mg activity/kg for between 3-4 days (normally one sachet per 400 litres) during times of stress such as vaccination, change of feed and/or for 3-4 days each month.

Treatment and prevention of diseases associated with to Clostridium perfringens:

To prevent clinical signs, use 25mg activity/kg for between 3-4 days for the first 3 days of life followed by 10-15 mg activity/kg for between 3-4 days starting 2 days before the expected outbreak.

For treatment use 25mg/kg bw for 3-4 days.

Swine: 1-2 days
Chickens: 2 days

• Once dissolved in water the prepared solution should be used within 72 hours.
• It is advised to use fresh solutions daily.
• If the sachet is not used completely, seal the sachet and use within 3 days, after this any unused medicine should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
• Do not leave or dispose of water containing AIVLOSIN where it may be accessible to animals not under treatment.
• Do not slaughter animals for human consumption during treatment.
• Avoid direct contact of AIVLOSIN with the skin or eye.
